Boiler Operator – Maintenance Technician

Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Wage: $31 – $41/hr (Pay range determined based on internal test results)

• Independently perform assigned plant equipment repairs.
• Independently conduct preventative maintenance for equipment.
• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of plant equipment.
• Perform building maintenance and repairs as needed.
• May perform electrical repairs of single-phase and three-phase power distribution components.
• May troubleshoot and repair electrical control wiring of equipment.
• Perform other duties as requested.

• Minimum of 3 years of related maintenance experience or 2 years of maintenance experience with additional technical training specific to equipment and plant maintenance.
• Knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical distribution systems and motors.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical controls from basic electrical schematics.
• Proficient in using electrical test instruments, such as continuity testers, amp meters, and voltage testers.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform complex repairs and machine adjustments.
• Ability to locate, read, understand, and apply information from equipment manuals.
• Ability to independently perform and document equipment preventive maintenance (PMs).
• Strong problem-solving and electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Valid MN 2nd Class B Boiler Operator license.
