CDL A Local Delivery Driver in Brooklyn Park, MN

Overview

Mondelēz Global LLC is hiring a CDL A Local Deliver Driver in Brooklyn Park, MN. This is a union role with start times at 4am in the warehouse and varying driving times. The driver will deliver products, including temperature-controlled foods, safely and on time within the Brooklyn Park, MN area.

• Stock your truck with Mondelēz products.
• Drive to stores and warehouses to deliver products.
• Ensure orders are delivered safely and on time.
• Be back home in the evening; home daily with reliable routes.

• Base pay range: $26.95/hr – $30.50/hr
• Hourly rate: starting at $28.50, $30.50 after 120 days (warehouse rate may differ at $26.95)

• Schedule:
  
  Monday–Saturday, with start times at 4am in the warehouse; driving times vary
• Home every day;
  Interstate coverage includes Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan
• Typically 10–15 stops per route
• Regular warehouse work required; routine lifting and stepping on/off the truck at stops

• Single-axle tractor and 28, 48 & 53-foot trailers
• Automatic transmission

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid CDL A license
• 1 year driving experience required
• Warehouse and direct store delivery experience preferred
• Safe driving history with no serious incidents in the last 5 years; review of accidents and violations
• No DUIs/DWIs within the last 5 years
• Must be registered with FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
• DOT pre-employment drug test, DOT physical, MVR, and background check clear
• Understanding of temperature-controlled food transportation preferred
• Ability to use smartphones/tablets and ELDs for logging
• Flexible with daily route and schedule changes
• Customer-oriented attitude; strong communication of Mondelēz values
• Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics and ability to communicate issues or perform basic repairs
• Must live within 50 miles of Brooklyn Park, MN
