- Inventory Management:
Organize and store products in appropriate locations; maintain accurate inventory records. - Order Picking:
Accurately pick products based on customer orders and prepare them for shipment. - Packing:
Pack products securely for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and protection. - Shipping:
Prepare shipments, ensuring proper documentation, labels, and shipping methods. - Maintaining Cleanliness:
Keep the warehouse neat, clean, and organized to ensure safety and efficiency. - Safety Compliance:
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. - Equipment Operation:
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks safely (training may be provided). - Driving:
Drive/operate company vehicles to transport goods between warehouse locations and/or customer sites. - Team
Collaboration:
Work closely with other warehouse associates, supervisors, and management to meet daily targets and address operational issues. - Record Keeping:
Update inventory records, track shipments, and maintain logs as required. - Additional Responsibilities:
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current valid driver’s license and DOT health card.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle repetitive tasks.
- Forklift certification (if applicable) or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to operate hand power tools.
- Basic computer skills sufficient to perform the job.
- Preferred:
Previous warehouse experience; basic knowledge of inventory systems. - Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend; lift and move products weighing up to 100 lbs. or more; comfortable in various warehouse environments, including temperature‑controlled areas.
