Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Salary Range: $21.00 To $25.00 Hourly

The Shipping, Receiving & Order Fulfillment Associate primarily supports receiving operations by unloading inbound containers, verifying shipments, and maintaining an organized inventory. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to accurate order processing and on-time shipping.

• Pick customer orders accurately using pick lists or work orders.
• Verify product quantities and order accuracy before packaging.
• Package products securely to prevent damage during shipment.
• Label, palletize, and stage completed orders for carrier pickup.
• Ensure orders are processed and shipped according to daily schedules and customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient fulfillment area.
• Assist in meeting daily shipping deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

• Prepare shipping documentation and maintain accurate shipping records.
• Coordinate outbound shipments with carriers.
• Safely unload inbound containers and delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials.
• Store incoming inventory in designated warehouse locations.

• Assist with inventory organization and stock replenishment.
• Perform cycle counts as assigned.
• Report inventory discrepancies and help maintain inventory accuracy.

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow established safety procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds regularly.
• Basic computer skills for shipping and inventory transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, or barcode scanners.

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
