The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member travels to stores within an assigned district to own and execute “start to finish” tasks such as planograms, merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member interacts with customers and Team Members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Work scheduled shifts and vary hours, days, nights, and overtime as dictated by business needs.
- Communicate proactively with District FAST Supervisor on work completion, issues, and solutions.
- Complete planograms, resets, store layout initiatives, and store layout measurements accurately and timely.
- Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform accurate cycle counts.
- Hang store signage and assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
- Perform detailed recovery and review of planogram integrity.
- Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
- Greet the Customer.
- Uncover Customer’s Needs & Wants.
- Recommend Product Solutions.
- Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
- Provide a Legendary shopping experience that differentiates from competition.
- Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Prior retail and/or merchandising experience is required.
- Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred (reading, writing, counting skills required).
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to resolve issues ethically with minimal conflict.
- Self‑directed; ability to complete assignments with little assistance.
- Work shifts vary from one store to another, generally no less than four hours and may exceed eight hours.
- Travel between store locations in a personal vehicle, often for long periods.
- Indoor floors and outdoor lots generally have moderate noise.
- Promote a safe and productive work environment and adhere to company safety training.
- Lighting and temperature are adequate.
- Travel as required in support of district needs.
- Push and pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with proper equipment.
- Occasional lifting or reaching overhead.
- Frequent standing, kneeling, twisting, crouching, squatting, bending, stooping, climbing ladders.
- Access all areas of the store including selling floor, side lot, stock area, and register area.
- Operate store equipment such as computer, cash register, and other equipment.
- Read, write, and count accurately for documentation.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Handle contact with birds/poultry.
- Complete required training and operate equipment (e.g., dolly, hand truck, forklift, baler, computer).
- Lift up to 50 pounds, drive vehicle, stand, walk, kneel/stow, reach overhead.
- Move throughout the store for an entire shift.
- Non‑sedentary position.
