Job Title:
Accounts Payable Coordinator
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will process and review vendor invoices for accuracy, coding, and compliance with company policies, as well as enter and maintain accounts payable transactions in Sage 300. You will also prepare and submit AIA billing applications and lien waivers in accordance with contract requirements.
Responsibilities- Process and review vendor invoices for accuracy, coding, and compliance with company policies.
- Enter and maintain accounts payable transactions in Sage 300.
- Prepare and submit AIA billing applications and lien waivers in accordance with contract requirements.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with month-end close, including accruals and reporting.
- Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure timely approvals and payments.
- Maintain organized records of invoices, contracts, and payment schedules.
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Sage 300 software.
- Knowledge of AIA billing standards and construction contract documentation.
Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of insurance certifications.
- Experience with data entry and coding.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Timberline.
The position operates within a standard Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, totaling a 35-hour work week.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Brooklyn, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
