Job Function:
Join the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology & Diabetes within the Department of Pediatrics, working alongside 2 physicians, 2 nurse practitioners, and a certified diabetes educator.
Provide outpatient care across 7 clinical sessions per week in both Article 28 and faculty practice clinics.
Manage an average of 8 patients per session with 30-minute appointment slots.
Share 1:3 call coverage for inpatient pediatric endocrinology consults, primarily handling consults via phone with NP support for routine matters.
Serve as a consultant for pediatric inpatients on the hospitalist service, including those in the NICU, PICU, and ER.
Collaborate with a fellowship program and contribute to the academic environment of a comprehensive pediatric hospital.
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Endocrinology.
- NY License required.
- Board Certification required.
