A health services network in New York City is looking to add a new licensed Pathologist to join their team in Brooklyn. In this role, the Pathologist will be responsible examines bodily fluids, such as blood and urine, or tissues from biopsies and Pap smears, to diagnose disease. Responsibilities:
The Pathologist will:
Oversee the integrity of specimen collection and testing Manage clinical laboratories Provide written interpretation of test results Advise physicians of test results and recommendations Provide written biopsy results Oversee the collection of blood and plasma at blood banks Work with law enforcement officials and testify about lab results in court as necessary Performs other duties as requested Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Premedical Studies MD Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organized Desired
