Per Diem Physician Assistant - Urology | Brooklyn Campus

The Urology team at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital provides care for the full range of urologic disorders, from the most common to the most challenging. PAs are included in a range of urologic procedures including BPH, ED, kidney stones, infertility, and urologic cancers. The urology PA is part of a comprehensive team covering surgical patients admitted to the hospital as well as performing urology consultations.

PAs serve as front line providers rounding with surgical attendings, writing notes, orders, and performing necessary bedside procedures.

The Department is looking for a per diem PA to cover nights, weekends, and holidays, at least 2-3 shifts per month.

Preferred Criteria

• Minimum of one year of experience in inpatient urology.
• Masters in physician assistant

Required Criteria

• Bachelor?s or master?s in physician assistant related studies
• NYS PA Licensure
• Current NCCPA Certification
• ACLS/BLS
• NYS Infection Control certification
• DEA Certification with NYS Opioid Prescriber training compliance
