Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted New York State Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- Degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
- Current and valid board certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in dermatology.
- Strong diagnostic skills with a solid understanding of dermatological treatments and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using an electronic medical record system.
Compensation:
- Pay rate starts at $100- $120 per hour depending on experience.
