Physician​/Medical Director​/Locum​/Assistant Director

Position: Physician / Medical Director / New York / Locum or Permanent / Assistant Director Job
Assistant Director needed in Queens. Domestic Violence experience needed! The Assistant Director is responsible for ensuring excellent patient care, in line with State and Agency mandates, is uniformly provided in a domestic violence location. S/he will monitor operations to certify that best-practice methodologies are uniformly employed, reviewed, and updated as necessary. Responsibilities
-Provides on-going supervision to direct care and clinical staff
-Participates in job interviews of all candidates
-Develops and manage weekly schedule
-Manages Intake department
-Coordinates and oversee admissions process in accordance with all relevant intake criteria and assign clients for service.

-Monitors program for continued improvement
-Responsible for internal audits
-Conducts staff Training & Development as required.

-Provides direct service to clients on an as needed basis
-Facilitates case disposition conferences, handling clinic emergencies and providing coverage for Director Requirements
-LMSW or LCSW in the state of New York
-Minimum 5 years of strong clinical and administrative experience.

-Prior experience with domestic violence population.

-Minimum of three years supervisory experience required
-Must have strong collaborative skills with clinical and administrative staff.

-Must provide culturally competent treatment and demonstrate cultural sensitivity.

-Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management.

-Proven analytical skills essential.
