XRay Technologist Per Diem

Position Summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a X-Ray Technologist - Per Diem.

Operate Radiological equipment to produce clinical diagnostic films as directed by physicians. Perform routine diagnostic procedures according to established policies and procedures. Perform all types of Radiological exams efficiently and competently.

• Exposure to radiation
• Ability to access all areas of the institution
• Ability to lift, push, pull or otherwise move heavy objects often in excess of 50 lbs
• Ability to lift, push, pull or otherwise move patient or equipment in excess of 150 lbs with or without assistance
• Ability to see or access information in print or transmitted electronically
• Ability to hear oral instructions
• Performing job duties may require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, bending, walking, kneeling

• High School Diploma
• Associate's Degree or Certificate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• New York State Radiologic Technology License
• New York State Radiologic Technology Temporary License can be accepted; note that it is only valid for 180 days from the start date, after which a NYS Radiologic Technologist license must be provided

• Radiologic Tech - Temp Permit
• Radiologic Tech Lic IV-Cert-NYS
• Radiologic Tech Lic - NYS

2-5+ years of experience preferred.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
