WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Critical Care Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.

Job Function:

• Day Shift or Night Shift.
• 8AM-8:30PM or 8PM-8:30AM.
• Evaluate and monitor the patient’s progress. Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition.
• Deliver regular updates to doctors, patients, and their family members.
• Begin treatment and monitor doses. If necessary, respond to a medical emergency and alert the appropriate doctors.
• Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in the ICU unit. Complete all necessary paperwork before transferring a patient.
• Maintain patient records.
• Create and implement effective care plans.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Current RN license for the state of New York.
• 2 years of acute care experience in this specialty.
• BLS & ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
