Position: Immunology Sales Specialist – Ophthalmology (Greater NYC)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Meet or exceed sales and territory objectives by developing and executing strategic business plans tailored to the ophthalmology market
  • Collaborate with portfolio representatives to identify synergistic opportunities and optimize customer engagement
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with opinion leaders, physicians, and key decision-makers in ophthalmology
  • Communicate complex disease-state and therapeutic information with authority and clarity
  • Present effective sales presentations to customers and at conferences
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience in the ophthalmology field
  • In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, an associate’s degree with 7+ years or 10+ years of successful pharmaceutical experience in ophthalmology will be considered
  • Current experience within the territory and strong customer knowledge
  • Proven success in larger, complex territories with multiple account types
  • Valid motor vehicle operator's license and ability to travel locally up to 40%
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience selling biologics or specialty pharmaceuticals to ophthalmologists or retina specialists
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills within matrixed teams
  • Familiarity with the local ophthalmology market dynamics
  • Ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
