As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government facilities to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the location, remain visible to the public, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and support.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to observe and report any irregularities.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unwanted behavior within the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff as needed.
• Document and report any incidents, observations, or unusual occurrences according to company and location protocols.
• Follow all instructions given by Allied Universal management and adhere to all company and location policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• A guard card or security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
