Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented, on-site, Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to mentor and manage staff in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the general ledger, month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed asset accounting
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial reporting requirements
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency
• Supervise and support accounting staff, providing training and performance feedback
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial analysis and reporting needs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books) and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
