Our client is seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bookkeeper. This individual should be capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Role and Responsibilities- Record day-to-day financial transactions (invoices, receipts, payments)
- Maintain and update general ledger entries
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Organize and maintain financial records and documents
- Assist with payroll data entry and reporting
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting tasks
- Ensure confidentiality and data security of financial information
- High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree or bookkeeping coursework a plus
- 1+ year of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred (internships included)
- Familiarity with Quick Books or other accounting software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic financial reporting
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
