VARITE is looking for a qualified Project Manager in Brooklyn, OH.
What the client does: A U.S.
-based regional bank and financial services company providing a wide range of banking products and services.
What we do: VARITE is an award‑winning minority business enterprise providing global consulting & staffing services to Fortune 1000 companies and government agencies.
ResponsibilitiesSummary: Leads small/mid‑size projects or phases of a larger project, taking them from concept through implementation using standard project management, change management and risk management methodologies.
- Work with business leaders to define scope, manage scope changes, objectives, requirements, deliverables and value proposition.
- Develop integrated project plans, identify and manage dependencies and critical paths, track progress and report status.
- Understand various delivery methodologies (waterfall, agile, etc.) and coordinate across projects.
- Lead communication planning, execution and reporting with project team members and key stakeholders.
- Develop change management plans, design and implementation, including communication and training.
- Identify, track, and resolve issues and risks, perform impact analysis and prioritization.
- Support business case development, perform project initiation activities and administer checkpoints.
- Gather estimates, track utilization, and assess staffing needs.
- Manage project budget and financials throughout the project.

Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience; PMI certification preferred. - Knowledge and experience in the financial services industry a plus.
- Experience with standard project management methodologies and tools.
- Five or more years of increasingly complex project‑related experience.
- Critical thinking, problem solving and conflict management skills.
- Leadership skills, coaching, and ability to inspire teams.
- Strategic planning and execution at multiple levels.
- Strong communication skills and ability to tailor messaging.
- Self‑discipline, organized, and focused on outcomes.
