Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Position Summary
Oliver is seeking a skilled Electro Mechanical Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and reliability of our electrical systems and manufacturing equipment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, efficient production operations by maintaining presses, machinery, and facility‑related systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on technician with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills who enjoys working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
About the RoleAs our Electro Mechanical Technician, you will:
- Install, maintain, test, and repair electrical systems, components, and manufacturing equipment
- Perform mechanical repairs on production machinery, including assemblies and sub‑assemblies
- Conduct trial runs of machinery to verify performance, quality, and operational specifications
- Troubleshoot electrical components, machines, and equipment to diagnose and resolve issues
- Monitor machinery to ensure safe and proper operation
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation
- Support preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and submit purchase orders as needed
- Assist with facility maintenance tasks as required, including basic carpentry and general repairs
- Collaborate with vendors, internal teams, and management as needed
You're a fit for the role of Electro Mechanical Technician, if your background includes:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3 + years of electro‑mechanical or industrial maintenance experience
- Broad knowledge of electrical systems, mechanics, and machining
- Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation
- Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance manuals
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Comfortable working independently and handling non‑routine situations
- Basic math skills, including use of fractions and decimals
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and team members
- Stable role in a manufacturing environment
