Pet Health & Customer Experience Associate Job Brookside area,Delaware USA,Retail

Our retail associates are more than just cashiers; our staff knows pet health inside and out. Our mission at the Barkery is “better health through better nutrition,” and we are dedicated to providing the most up-to-date holistic health information to our patrons with the best customer service possible. The following reflects the essential job duties but does not restrict tasks that may be assigned.

Duties of this job may be changed at management’s discretion.

Duties include:

Sell store merchandise to customers & collect payment for transactions

Engage with customers & their pets

Assist with shipment receiving and product labeling

Stock products and inspect for expired dates

Help maintain current inventory of products

Assist customers in navigating the retail store

Maintain cleanliness and proper display order of products in the store

Coordinate work with other team members

Answer phones and book appointments

Attend and participate in all mandatory trainings

Share pet health and nutrition information with patrons as needed

Maintain effective performance under pressure

Monitor and fulfill online orders

May perform similar duties as requested by supervisor

Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years old

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to work independently and with others

Good communication skills

Attention to detail

Passion for pets & their well-being

Able to tolerate standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 lbs

Reliable transportation

Time management skills

Desire to learn

Displays initiative
