The Planning & Control Engineer is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining project planning and control systems to ensure successful execution of large-scale projects. This role ensures that projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and according to company quality and safety standards.

This role ensures that projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and according to company quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain project planning and control tools, including schedules, dashboards, and reporting structures.
- Build comprehensive project schedules, defining phases, milestones, and deliverables in coordination with project stakeholders.
- Establish and enforce planning and control standards, ensuring alignment across all project teams.
- Coordinate and facilitate communication among engineers, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Support project managers by providing training and guidance on planning methodologies, tracking tools, and performance metrics.
- Monitor project progress, collect performance data, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform risk assessments related to scheduling, cost deviations, and resource availability.
- Prepare progress reports, forecasts, and executive summaries to provide clear visibility on project status.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety regulations, and project management best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Industrial, Mechanical, or related), Architecture, Project Management, or a similar discipline.
- Experience with project planning software such as MS Project, Primavera P6 (preferred), and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong understanding of engineering and construction processes, material and equipment management, and project lifecycle stages.
- Solid analytical and problem‑solving skills with a detail‑oriented mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage interactions across contractors and stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in cement, construction, industrial manufacturing, or related industries is a plus.
