Registered Behavior Technician

Gentle Hands ABA is a woman‑owned behavior analysis business located in Hernando County, FL. Our team of highly experienced professionals is committed to lasting behavior change for each client. The owner and lead BCBA oversees all clinical and business operations to integrate compassion with the fundamentals of behavior science.

This is a full‑time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) role located in Brooksville, FL. Applicants must be available from 9:00‑3:00 pm each day and willing to travel to client homes, schools, and community settings. Responsibilities include implementing behavioral intervention plans, working one‑on‑one with clients, and supporting them in achieving individualized treatment goals. Daily tasks involve observing and recording client progress, following guidance from a Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and maintaining open communication with the therapy team and families.

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the BACB
• Strong understanding and application of Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis techniques
• Experience implementing behavioral interventions to support client development
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and families
• Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and record data accurately
• Empathy, patience, and an ability to work effectively with clients of diverse abilities and backgrounds
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus
