Shifts: 7 PM - 8 AM and 8 AM - 8 PM (Shift times may vary)

About Us: At Essential Staffing Solutions, we specialize in providing top talent to apartment communities. We are currently seeking a reliable, responsible, and attentive individual for a temporary Apartment Firewatch role.

Job Overview: As an Apartment Firewatch, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety of the apartment community during fire alarm system malfunctions or renovations. Your primary duties include monitoring the premises for fire hazards, ensuring a safe environment, and taking immediate action in emergencies.

• Monitor apartment buildings for signs of fire or hazardous conditions.
• Conduct regular patrols of the assigned area.
• Immediately call 911 in the event of a fire or emergency.
• Report any suspicious activity or fire hazards to management.
• Ensure fire exits, extinguishers, and other safety equipment are accessible and in good condition.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures outlined by the property management.
• Maintain a log of activities and incidents.

• Prior experience in a firewatch or security role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay alert during long shifts.
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Must be flexible, available to work weekends, and willing to work any shift as needed.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
