Job Summary: We’re looking for a CNC Programmer/Machinist who wants to take ownership of their work from cradle to grave — programming, fixturing, tooling, setup, machining, and inspection. You’ll work on unique prototype parts and be part of a small, highly skilled team that values craftsmanship and innovation.
Responsibilities- Create CNC programs in SolidCAM
- Design and set up fixtures and select tooling for prototype parts
- Set up and operate CNC mills/lathes through complete part production
- Adjust programs and machining parameters to hold tight tolerances
- Ability to independently determine best course of action for timely job completion
- Competence to run and maintain multiple machines during the day while programming during cycle time
- Perform in-process and final inspections, including First Article and CMM checks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused workspace
- 1+ year of CNC machining and CAM programming experience
- Solid
CAM experience preferred (other CAM systems welcome) - Ability to independently program, set up, and run CNC machines
- Understanding of GD&T, tooling, and machining best practices
- Experience with CMM or precision inspection tools a plus
- Detail-oriented and eager to learn in a fast-paced prototype environment
- Solid Works or similar CAD experience
- 3+2 or 5-axis machining exposure
- Experience with high-end or aerospace prototype parts
