Position Title(s): Assistant Store Manager and Supervisor

Job Summary: As a member of Management, you will be the heartbeat of our store, responsible for managing daily operations, inspiring a high-performance team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You’ll have the autonomy to shape the store’s success and contribute to our company’s growth.

  Create an exceptional shopping experience by addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and ensuring high standards of customer service.
• Sales & Performance:
  Drive store sales and profitability through effective merchandise management, promotional strategies, and achieving sales targets.
• Operational Excellence:
  Oversee daily operations including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
• Financial Management:
  Manage store budgets, control expenses, and analyze sales data to optimize performance and drive revenue growth.
• Marketing & Community Engagement:
  Implement local marketing initiatives and build strong relationships with the community to enhance brand presence and attract new customers.
• Innovation & Problem-Solving:
  Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance store operations.
• Additional duties and projects as required.

• Experience:
  
  Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or similar role, with a track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
• Leadership Skills:
  Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Customer-Centric: A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
• Analytical Skills:
  Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
• Flexibility:
  Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Tech-Savvy:
  Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.

• Assistant Store Manager: Open availability (including mornings, days, and nights); minimum 5 days/week; average 44 hours/week with increases during peak periods.
• Supervisor: Availability during hours to open/close the store (mornings, days, nights); minimum 5 days/week; minimum 30 hours/week.
• All Management:
  Availability on weekends and holidays; punctuality and regular attendance; reliable transportation; clear English communication; ability to read and write English and perform business mathematics; potential relocation within the company network as needed.

• Prolonged standing (approximately 5 to 14 hours per day).
• During peak periods, long hours may be required (up to 12 hours day).
• Stooping, kneeling, reaching, pulling to stock merchandise; may climb ladders or stairs.
• Occasional lifting of 5-25 lbs; vision and color differentiation required.
• Moderately noisy retail environment.

• High School Diploma or GED; 2+ years’ experience in retail leadership strongly preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
