* Minimum Qualifications:

*** Requires bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree or master's +6 yrs experience).
* Typically, 8+ years of related experience.
* Expertise in one to multiple programming languages and advanced understanding of software development principles.
* Ability to design and architect complex software systems.
* Experience with different software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum/Kanban.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Ability to mentor and guide other engineers
* An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Hands-on experience with the Open Mission Systems (OMS) and Universal Command and Control Interface (UCI) standards.
* Advanced expertise in requirements management and system modeling tools, such as No Magic Cameo.
* Proven experience in software architecture, including functional decomposition, interface definition, and software design.
* Strong understanding and practical application of software design patterns.
* Experience in creating detailed software interface control documents and algorithm description documents.
* Proficiency in developing and managing requirements using advanced modeling techniques.
* In-depth knowledge of industry-standard design principles, including but not limited to requirements management and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
* Certification or practical experience with International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) standards.
* Solid background in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
* Familiarity with defining and tracking key Technical Performance Measurements (TPMs) to ensure project success.
* Demonstrated experience in defining and developing test cases based on architectural documentation and system requirements.

Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.$73.48 - $101.00 per hour
