About the Role
Allenta Prime, a specialist healthcare recruitment agency, is working on behalf of a well-established care home in East Yorkshire. We are seeking an experienced Senior Night Carer to join the night team. You will provide high-quality care overnight, ensuring residents’ safety, comfort, and wellbeing, while supporting and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide safe and dignified personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, oral care)

* Support residents with mobility, including safe use of hoists and walking aids

* Administer medication according to care plans and training

* Monitor and record vital signs and general health overnight

* Maintain accurate care plans, handovers, and documentation (GDPR compliant)

* Supervise and mentor junior night staff where applicable

* Respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents
Requirements

* Minimum of one year’s experience as a Night Carer or Senior Care Assistant

* Up-to-date DBS on the Update Service

* Knowledge of safeguarding, manual handling, infection control, and medication administration

* Compassionate, reliable, and professional
