Role SummaryThe Biomedical Equipment Technician III conducts cost‑effective maintenance on company and customer‑owned medical equipment primarily located at customer sites, ensuring they function properly and meet customers’ needs. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, corrective repair service, equipment inspection, calibration, data entry, and communication with clinical staff.

- Conduct cost‑effective equipment inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair service on various medical devices.
- Complete all paperwork and computer data entry accurately and promptly to ensure complete documentation for billing and regulatory compliance.
- Communicate with clinical staff on equipment features, functionality, and related topics.
- Associate degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or biomedical equipment technology. Equivalent military training or Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) acceptable.
- Specialized equipment knowledge (anesthesia, imaging, network‑smart technology, respiratory, sterilizers) and understanding of service programs and contractual obligations.
- Proficiency in preventive maintenance and repairs on a wide range of general equipment.
- Current, valid, unrestricted driver’s license with safe driving record according to Agiliti policies.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to provide technical training and coaching to other employees on equipment operation, preventive maintenance, repair, quality management, and ISO practices.
- Ability to supervise biomedical personnel.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off‑hours as needed for a 24/7 schedule.
- Willingness to travel periodically.
- Physical ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds and perform required movements for extended periods.
