Laser Tally Technician

Operate laser tally equipment to measure tubular lengths in accordance with OEM and customer specifications

Perform visual inspection of threads and connections to ensure compliance with specification requirements

Conduct inside and outside diameter caliper measurements using precision equipment

Ensure all work adheres to Superior Performance’s QHSE standards and customer-specific requirements

Participate in pre-job safety meetings and risk assessments

Maintain accurate and complete job documentation and reporting

Follow company procedures, work instructions, and operational guidelines at all times

Exercise Stop Work Authority when an unsafe condition or behavior is observed

High school diploma or GED preferred (or equivalent experience)

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Effective communication skills and the ability to work within a team

Basic math and measurement competency

Ability to read and interpret job procedures and OEM specifications

Must be 21 years or older (for insurance purposes)

Valid driver’s license with satisfactory MVR and background check

Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and 24/7 on-call

Ability to travel and work out of town for extended periods

Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in demanding offshore or onshore environments

Daily per diem when working in the field, furnished lodging when working out of town
