Bell Broussard Blade Shop
Bring your ideas and experience and join the Broussard Blade shop. In this position you’ll work with other team members to ensure best-in-class service to our customers. You’ll be an integral part of the team, performing work in the paint department. You’ll have an opportunity to showcase your learning abilities and hands-on skills, while growing your technical knowledge and aviation career experience.

What you’ll be doing as PainterIn this role you will prepare, mask and prime, and paint parts. You will clean, sand, mask and tape aircraft parts, as well as mix, apply, and smooth cosmetic fillers. You may perform additional duties as assigned.
What you need to be successful- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience painting aircraft parts, or similar experience required.
- Ability to work in environment with exposure to various chemicals, dust and odors, and various machine heat cycles.
- Ability to use proper PPE for zinc chromate and paint.
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds on a regular basis.
- Capable of standing for extended periods during the entire duration of shift.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
- Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.
- Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.
- Ability to wear all required PPE, to include respirator.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.
- Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
