• Under direct supervision, trains in the chemical hygiene plan and current HSE laboratory safety standards.
• Follows prescribed safety rules and regulations while performing assigned duties.
• Conducts prototype or laboratory tests following prescribed procedures.
• Builds equipment and performs basic material or environmental tests using basic techniques with electrical/electronic, chemical, and mechanical equipment.
• Documents test data for reporting purposes.
• Maintains files and documentation related to test equipment and results.
• Performs job tasks correctly, ensuring minimal impact on the viability of the organization.

• Preferred: 8 hours of college chemistry or equivalent experience.

Candidates with qualifications exceeding the minimum may be considered for higher level roles based on experience, additional job requirements, and business needs, including advancements from Lab Technician Associate to Lab Technician.
