Senior Design Engineer - Custom Automation Solutions
Location:
Brown Deer, WI (No Remote)
Type:
Direct Hire
Pay: up to $90,000 annually
Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder.
Full benefits, no relocation, located in the Brown Deer, Wisconsin area.
- 5+ years of Solid Works custom machine design (concept to completion)
- 2+ years of experience in automation, welding processes, and customer interface
- Bachelor's in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- U.S. citizen or Green Card holder
This full-time, permanent Senior Design Engineer - Custom Automation Solutions is at an employee-oriented company that turns innovative custom automation machinery into reality.
Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end mechanical design of custom automation and robotic work cells, from concept to production.
- Manage multiple design projects strategically, ensuring timely delivery and resolving complex engineering challenges.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams and customers to optimize designs and ensure manufacturability.
- Create detailed 3D Solid Works models and drawings, including comprehensive bills of materials.
- Drive continuous improvement in design quality and engineering processes.
- Bachelor's in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of Solid Works custom machine design (concept-to-completion).
- 2+ years in automation, welding processes, and customer interface.
- Understanding of machine tool, material science, hydraulic and pneumatic concepts.
- Understanding of machine design and power transmission.
- Solid work history.
- U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
- Residence within a 45-minute drive.
