Position:
Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift)
Pay Rate: $29/hr
Shift: 3rd Shift(12am to 8am), with overtime available
Location:
Brown Deer, WI
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for keeping production and facility equipment performing at its best. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing mechanical and electronic repairs on conveyor systems, printers, and sorting equipment.
- Responding quickly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies to minimize downtime.
- Conducting preventative maintenance in line with vendor and quality standards.
- Escalating major issues to the Lead Technician when necessary.
- Reviewing and applying technical manuals and updates to stay current with equipment modifications.
- Assisting and training other technicians to promote knowledge-sharing across the team.
- Maintaining spare parts and supply inventory using PM schedules and work order systems.
- Troubleshooting and repairing equipment with accuracy, urgency, and attention to detail.
- Taking on additional tasks to ensure smooth facility operations.
- Hands-on experience in maintenance, repair, or industrial equipment troubleshooting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical/electronic skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Willingness to work 3rd shift hours.
