We're looking for a hands‑on 2nd Shift Lead Machinist / Foreman to guide our shop floor team, ensuring productivity, quality, and efficiency. This is a leadership role for a skilled machinist who thrives on teamwork, problem‑solving, and mentoring others.
Shift Schedule- Monday – Thursday | 3:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.
- One Saturday per month required
- Overtime available (40+ hours per week)
- Lead and direct machinists on CNC mills, lathes, and other machining centers
- Provide training, guidance, and support to team members
- Oversee part quality and inspection processes throughout production
- Assist management with staffing decisions, evaluations, and personnel recommendations
- Perform machining operations on complex parts, including setup and production
- Review and interpret routings and customer blueprints
- Minimum 5 years of well‑rounded machining experience (mills and lathes)
- Strong knowledge of cutting tools, measuring tools, and gauging processes
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve machining problems
- Solid communication and leadership skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work 2nd shift and occasional Saturdays
