• Greet, engage, and assist customers visibly and proactively.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the check lane.
• Handle various tenders (Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, loyalty offers) following company policies.
• Adhere to cash handling and loss prevention guidelines.
• Follow policies for restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and stay current with promotions and ads.
• Comply with food safety and safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers and assist with product inquiries.
• Follow all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Work effectively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts professionally.
• Act with integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Support and assist diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with special needs, and seniors.

• Customer service experience
• Effective communication skills
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)

• Previous customer service roles
• Experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk
