Senior Automation Engineer

Erithy, previously known as Be Better Contractors, specializes in the design and construction of sustainable subsea infrastructure globally.

We deliver consultancy services within the oil and gas industry, high voltage cables, biogas and hydrogen, as well as civil engineering services and project administration.

Created in 2017, Erithy has grown into a consultancy team made up of various profiles from Europe, South America and the Middle East, working on projects across Norway.

Senior Automation Engineer for one of our customers based in Asker.

• Automation design for Study projects for Oil&Gas, both Greenfield and Brownfield
• Automation Lead role in studies when required
• Define, specify and design automation and SAS systems for study phase
• Development of philosophies, topologies, I/O budget and systems descriptions to the required level
• Development of design documents such as C&E's, SCD's and HMI sketches
• Participate and arrange meetings, workshops and reviews for automation discipline
• Interface to other disciplines, contractors and client

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Minimum 6 years’ experience from automation engineering in green field Oil&Gas or HVDC projects
• Minimum 4 years’ Experience from automation and SAS system, design activities and reviews
• Minimum 4 years' experience from automation engineering in O&G brownfield projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf
• Experience from automation system design in FEED or study phase projects
• Experience and deep knowledge of automation design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO, DNVGL and IEC
• Valid EX course
• Valid FSE course
• Fluent English, written and spoken
