Description
Position Summary:
Evaluates, strategically directs and coordinates the implementation of all clinical and related systems used by the Patient Care Services.
Experience
Required:
Experience in medical information systems, 2-3 years Clinical experience (2 years Cardiology experience). Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with clinical and technical personnel in the application of information technology.
Education
Required:
Bachelors’ Degree in Nursing, Computer sciences, or related field
Preferred:
Masters’ Degree in Nursing Informatics
License and Credentials
Required:
Registered Nurse
Skills
Required:
Working knowledge of PC’s, MS Office Applications, including MS Project. AANC Certification in Nursing Informatics is desired. Experience in leading teams and project management required.
Preferred:
Proficient in Meditech
Populations Served
EA-Early Adult (19-45); MA-Middle Adult (46-59); LA-Late Adult (60-79); LLA-Late, Late Adult (Over 80)
HOURS:
Part-time 40 hours per pay period
The minimum starting rate for this position is $40.67
