As part of the talented Mercury Marine Plant 103 2nd Shift team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, and kitting functions. You also must ensure a safe work environment and adhere to established standards for production and quality.
Essential Functions:- Receiving product through a Manhattan Warehouse Management System.
- Picking and packaging of parts and accessories for shipping.
- Kitting of components as customer demand dictates.
- Understand how to read process sheets, manufacturing instruction sheets, or other job‑related documentation.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by complying with the JSAs, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Rules, and plant safety rules. Report quality and safety issues to management.
- Daily and regular attendance is required.
- Work overtime as required, including weekends and holidays if operation needs dictate.
- Have the physical ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform these tasks, as specified in the Physical Requirements section of this Job Description.
- Be available to work on all shifts.
- Must be 18+ years old.
- HS Diploma or GED.
- Ability to read process sheets, bills of material, and standardized work instructions.
- Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing).
- Ability to communicate and comprehend information both verbally and writtenly with supervision and work associates. Proficiency in English required.
- Must lift/carry 25–50 pounds occasionally, walk multiple steps in a day, stand for 8 hours/day, and perform repetitive movements.
- Work in all plant environments within warehouse and distribution.
- Operate/drive PIT equipment, including reach truck, OP, pallet jack, etc., if needed.
