Acorn Distributors is a multi-million-dollar distributor of janitorial and food service products, providing expert solutions to Education, Healthcare, Government, Lodging, Commercial, Property Management, Restaurants, and Catering.

Acorn Distributors seeks a motivated, self-driven, competitive individual as a Sales Consultant to identify and sell new accounts as well as grow existing accounts. The role focuses on expanding your account base using all available resources.

Territory:
Greater Indianapolis Area (and surrounding areas).

Responsibilities
  • Act as a hunter of new customers
  • Establish and maintain long-term rewarding relationships with existing customers
  • Develop sales strategies and solutions to meet customers’ needs
  • Achieve sales and KPI objectives goals
  • Become an expert on the products and services we offer
  • Create and conduct presentations to new and existing customers
  • Conduct demonstrations for our high-quality products and equipment
  • Develop and maintain a prospective customer target list. Manage your time and working independently that includes developing your own route and schedule
  • Collaborate with our vendor partners to continually learn their product line and mutually present to customers
  • Work closely with customer service and purchasing to determine the best solution to meet the customer’s needs
Requirements
  • Sales experience
  • High level of motivation and energy
  • Thrive as an individual and a part of a team
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and time management skills
  • Commitment to provide customer service excellence
  • Ability to establish and maintain network groups
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales Management, Food Service, or another related field preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
