Warehouse Inventory Supervisor - Weekend Split Shift
As a Warehouse Inventory Supervisor at Kuehne+Nagel, you will lead the coordination and accuracy of inventory across our warehouse and distribution centers. Your role is critical in ensuring that every product – from delicate flowers to fresh ingredients – is properly received, stored, tracked, and dispatched with precision. By maintaining seamless inventory control and supporting operational excellence, you contribute directly to the reliability of our supply chain and the satisfaction of our customers.
Typical shift:
Friday – Sunday, 12:00 PM – 12:30 AM.
- Supervise and develop the performance of your team through training, coaching, and motivation.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide timely feedback.
- Drive a culture of belonging in a diverse workforce.
- Implement strategies to ensure the highest quality of work, optimize inventory efficiency, and meet or exceed KPIs.
- Ensure safe operations and healthy environments for employees, customers, vendors, and visitors.
- Verify inventory paperwork and complete all necessary records and reports.
- Ensure daily cycle counts are completed and organize the annual audit.
- Help maintain warehouse security and assure inventory integrity.
- Implement continuous improvement action plans and loss prevention programs.
- Be flexible to work overtime and perform other responsibilities as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of recent experience in a full-time inventory role.
- 2+ years in a supervisory role in a warehousing environment.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
