At Teknor Apex, long‑term relationships with employees and customers shape how we solve problems and deliver results.
Base pay range$17.00/hr - $18.00/hr
Do you thrive in a team‑first manufacturing setting where consistent attendance keeps everyone safe and production flowing? Are you comfortable stepping up for mandatory overtime when production must continue past a scheduled shift? Can you balance precision, speed, and safety while following detailed instructions?
What you will handle
Picture a shift where you confirm your finishing table assignment from the production schedule, verify raw materials with the Batch Card, and dial in the Automatic Counter for exact hose lengths. You press the cutter’s pedal to advance and cut hose, mount proper fittings on the expander, assemble hose and fittings, engage the expander foot pedal, remove, and repeat to keep pace with targets.
On the finishing side, you load the male end of the hose into the winding machine, coil, attach labels, and secure each coil using straps or wire ties. You perform a visual inspection, build cartons, apply a label to the carton side, and place the coil inside the carton and/or on the belt conveyor—repeating until the carton holds the required quantity, then sliding it to the conveyor.
