Plant Millwright​/Mechanical Systems Technician

• Own safety: understand and follow all procedures, every task, every time.
• Repair and replace hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical devices.
• Diagnose and restore production assets: pumps, motors, compressors, conveyors, blowers, dust collectors, fans, filters, heat exchangers, tanks, valves, gearboxes, extruders, and more.
• Install, maintain, and repair piping systems, including screw pipe threading.
• Weld, cut, and fabricate metal parts and assemblies.
• Execute PMs and document work orders accurately.
• Apply general knowledge of facilities equipment: boilers, pumps, de‑aerator, control room, air compressors, chiller, dryers, pneumatic controls, valves, and HVAC.
• Operate shop machinery and tools safely.
• Interpret mechanical drawings, OEM manuals, and technical bulletins.
• Use an electrical tester to check power, fuses, breakers, and switches safely.
• Operate a forklift, scissor lift, and jenny boom.
• Plan and organize your workload; prioritize to meet timelines.
• Install, service, and repair equipment with urgency and quality.
• Bring and maintain proper hand tools.
• Maintain strong housekeeping standards across plant and shop.

• Welding and fabrication experience (required).
• Ability to install screw pipe and run a pipe threader (required).

• Lift 30 pounds overhead at least four times within an 8‑hour shift.
• Climb and work from a ladder as needed.
