Project OverviewBechtel is partnering with Next Decade to support their vision to provide the world access to lower carbon intensive energy with their Rio Grande LNG (RGLNG) project in Brownsville, Texas. RGLNG is a natural gas liquefaction and export terminal situated on a 984‑acre site on the banks of the Brownsville ship channel. The first phase of the RGLNG project consists of three liquefaction trains, two storage tanks and one marine berth.
At full capacity, the five‑train facility will have a production capacity of 27 million tonnes per annum (MTPA). Brownsville, Texas is a city known for its diverse history, tradition, and rich culture. Located in the southernmost region in the beautiful state of Texas, it lies a rich, tropical oasis bordering the Rio Grande River and near the shores of the Gulf of Mexico.

In this role, you will manage a portfolio of craft professionals and superintendents, providing coaching and guidance on employee relations, benefits, policy interpretation, and workplace expectations. A major focus of the role will be conducting investigations — including interviewing witnesses, reviewing procedures and regulations, developing timelines, and compiling complete case files for final review. Your work will support strong supervisor–employee relationships while ensuring fair, consistent outcomes and compliance with labor standards.
MajorResponsibilities
- Implements and administers Bechtel and IR department policies and procedures.
- Assist in compiling and preparing documentation on investigation reports and action plans.
- Participation in investigations and tracking of open cases as they are evaluated, categorized and appropriately actioned.
- Tracking to closeout of corrective actions.
- Assists in delivering training packages to construction leadership team e.g. investigations and dispute 톺 resolution.
- Supports and coaches field supervision on managing performance of Craft Professionals, ensuring fairness and consistency निर्देश across the project.
- Assist phone the project reduction in force process. پژوهwith both Employee Dispute Resolution (EDR) and Ethics Teams in complex employee relations investigations.
- Collects, assembles and analyzes data for IR reports and compares to the company requirements.
- Assist in the Welcoming of new hires to Job Site.
- Other duties as required.
- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) with +2 years of relevant experience, or 5-6 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
- Knowledge of Employee Relations functions on field projects or in an office environment.
- Broad knowledge and understanding of IR, including project experience in an administrative or employee relation role for IR.
