Description

We are currently seeking an experienced MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Radiology. As a Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients using medical imaging techniques. Your expertise will be vital in providing accurate and timely diagnoses, contributing to the overall healthcare delivery system. This role working on a variety of radiology projects, ensuring the highest standard of patient care and medical accuracy.

• Interpret and analyze diagnostic images to aid in patient diagnosis.
• Perform and interpret different imaging procedures such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
• Consult with referring physicians to provide insights and recommendations based on imaging findings.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality assurance standards in all imaging procedures.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements and technologies in the field of radiology.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records for reference and legal purposes.

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Radiology.
• Valid state medical license to practice as a Radiologist.
• Demonstrated experience in interpreting a variety of diagnostic imaging techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in diagnostic interpretations.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday (8a-5p), 14 on/14 off

Beeper Call:
Monday-Friday (5p-8a) or 24-hour weekend call

Will cover two facilities

Daily Census: 6-8 procedures

Dictation:
Powerscribe

Must be board-certified
