Brownsville Community Health Center dba _New Horizon Health Center_ is seeking a full-time Family Medicine (FP) Physician to provide preventive and primary medical care for patients in a warm and friendly community health center environment. Must be able to treat patients from a diversity of social and ethnic backgrounds and to work creatively as a member of a health-oriented team composed of health professionals from a variety of disciplines for the healing and betterment of the center's patients.

Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited Medical school, completion of approved post-graduate training, and a current, unrestricted Texas medical license required. Board Certified in Family Medicine (or Board-eligible for future/new graduates awaiting board certification). Must have current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) registrations for the purpose of writing prescriptions. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
