We’re looking for educators who can translate industry experience into student success in a collaborative, interactive classroom environment across Texas campuses.

Position:
Pharmacy Technician Adjunct Instructor (Part-time). You will work with campus faculty to create an optimized learning environment and help students develop communication and higher-order thinking skills through relevant assignments.

• Demonstrate and apply thorough and accurate knowledge of the teaching field and discipline.
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning and practice excellence in teaching.
• Modify instructional methods and strategies to meet diverse student needs.
• Prepare lesson plans and teach courses as prescribed by the approved institutional curriculum.
• Encourage development of communication skills and higher-order thinking through appropriate assignments.

• 5+ years of current pharmaceutical industry experience in a variety of settings (retail, hospital, mail).
• Degree preferred.
• Prior post-secondary related teaching experience of at least 1 year is highly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with the Internet, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

  CPhT, PhTR (current Texas Pharmacy certification required).
