We are supporting a major energy infrastructure project and seeking an experienced Operations Superintendent to oversee safe, reliable facility operations. This leadership role is responsible for managing shift teams, coordinating with cross‑functional departments, and ensuring safe execution of operating procedures during commissioning and operations.

• Lead and supervise operations personnel in day‑to‑day plant activities
• Ensure shift teams meet competency and training requirements
• Oversee operational execution including startup, shutdown, and steady‑state operations
• Serve as the senior operational decision‑maker during shift coverage
• Monitor plant systems through control room and field operations
• Maintain accurate logs, reporting, and compliance documentation
• Coordinate with maintenance, construction, engineering, and automation groups
• Participate in walkthroughs, readiness checks, and operational turnover processes
• Support process safety initiatives and enforce permitting requirements
• Mentor, coach, and develop operations team members
• Evaluate operational performance data to identify improvement opportunities
• Manage inventories and coordinate vendor support as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/technical field OR equivalent operations experience
• 5+ years of progressive operations experience in energy, petrochemical, refining, or industrial process facilities
• Prior supervisory/leadership responsibility in plant or terminal operations
• Experience working with distributed control/automation systems
• Strong understanding of process safety and operational risk management
• Ability to troubleshoot complex process and equipment issues
• Able to lead teams and make sound decisions under pressure

• Commissioning or startup of process facilities
• Emergency response/incident command training
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements
