This role serves as a recognized technical specialist responsible for interpreting electrical designs, supporting field execution, resolving complex technical issues, adapting designs to site conditions, and ensuring construction activities conform to engineering requirements, project specifications, and industry standards. Through close collaboration with engineering, construction, commissioning, and customer teams, you will help ensure safe, reliable, and successful project outcomes.

  • Reviewing and resolving technical queries, requests for information (RFIs), field changes, and engineering challenges that arise during construction.
  • Verifying that electrical installation activities conform to approved designs, specifications, codes, standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to construction supervisors, craft professionals, subcontractors, inspectors, and project teams.
  • Supporting constructability reviews, workface planning activities, and construction readiness efforts to improve field productivity and project performance.
  • Monitoring construction progress and identifying technical risks, constraints, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Participating in inspections, testing activities, energization planning, quality reviews, and turnover processes to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of corrective actions related to engineering, installation, and quality issues.
  • Preparing technical reports, engineering assessments, presentations, and recommendations for project leadership and stakeholders.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert for electrical engineering matters while mentoring and supporting less experienced engineers and field personnel.
  • Supporting pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and system turnover activities to ensure successful project completion.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance engineering effectiveness, construction execution, and project performance.
