MRI Tech Imaging Per Diem Rotate

Overview

Under minimal supervision, performs complex diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Produces high quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

• Produces high quality images in a safe and efficient manner. Completes required exams; sends studies to reading station for radiologist review, completes all associated documentation.

  Required:
  
  Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program. Preferred:
  Associate degree or Bachelor s degree
• Experience:
  
  Preferred: 1-3 years
• Certifications:
  
  Required:
  
  AMRIT and/or ARRT (R) and documentation of MRI training. Must obtain MRI Registry within 1 year of hire. AHA. State license if required
• Preferred: ARRT (MR).
• BLS:
  At hire or obtain within 5 working days before assuming patient care (2 yr renewal)
