Home Health Occupational Therapist (PRN)
Occupational Therapist (OT) – Join Our Team at Varco Home Health
Varco Home Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing team in Brownsville Texas. We have positions open in the Northwest, Northeast, Southwest, and Southeast areas. This is a PRN (as-needed) position offering flexible scheduling—ideal for clinicians seeking work-life balance or supplemental income. As an OT with Varco, you’ll play a vital role in helping patients improve independence and safely perform daily activities through high-quality care delivered in the comfort of their homes.
We are looking for a dependable, patient-centered clinician committed to providing evidence-based, individualized care.
Conduct Patient Evaluations:
Perform comprehensive assessments to determine functional abilities, home safety needs, and individualized goals.
Develop Individualized Care Plans:
Create patient-specific treatment plans focused on improving ADLs, fine motor skills, cognitive function, and overall independence.
Patient & Caregiver
Education:
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, adaptive equipment use, safety strategies, and techniques to support continued progress.
Monitor and Document Progress:
Complete accurate and timely documentation of visits, patient responses, changes in condition, and updates to care plans.
Deliver Compassionate, High-Quality Care:
Provide empathetic, supportive, and goal-focused treatment to enhance quality of life and functional independence.
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Texas (TX)
- Home health or rehabilitation experience preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning and ability to tailor treatment to individual needs
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapy practices and standards of care
- Strong communication skills and a professional, patient-centered approach
- Valid Driver’s License
- Kinnser/Well Sky EMR experience preferred

Pay Rate$60-75 per visit
